CONNIE SCHELLER’S & COMPANY’S PROFILE

SYNOPSIS: PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I count with a strong experience, mainly in the field of marketing and sales, and a very special one, too, in the operative field of travel to all corners of the world. This experience has been accumulated for more than 35 years, many of those with top executive posts at transnational companies, specially the last 25 years, first as Manageress and then as Directress of two important areas of travel (American Express Co. (Mexico). S.A. de C.V.) and finally, from 1991-today, I have been working as independent Tour Operator mainly to the Orient, Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and South America as Connie Scheller Expeditions, S. A. de C.V.. Lately, I have been engaged in the operations, coordination and logistics of conventions, regional meetings, seminars and incentive travels for important corporations.

Due to my own kind of work, I have maintained a close contact with main tour operators around the world. Besides, I have been keeping excellent relations with the public and private sectors, not only in Mexico, but also overseas.

1996-Today: INSPIRATION TOURS AND TRAVELS (P) LTD. / INSPIRATION TREKS & EXPEDITIONS (P) LTD., of Kathmandu, Nepal, a tour operator company founded by my very close friend Rabindra Rayamajhi with the offer of also good-will tours throughout Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. Part of collected funds are destinated to help a hospital, “Temple of Health” in Nepal. The neat and exact and high/excellent quality of his operation of such sophisticated tours and trekkings are my real envy. My impression about Inspiration is as follows  I want to be there, now, and take them all. He has kept me impressed with all the also neat and quick  information  he  can  render  about  his market in a few seconds through Internet and the Web and as attachments he is constantly sending me via E-Mail and so he keeps me posted of all his operation and information I require. Very effective. He handles my outbound traffic to such terrific destinations of the world”.

“My friend Rabindra Rayamajhi; is a pure descendant from the Chhetris. His family comes from the Palpa/Tansen District of Western Nepal and four (04) generations before his families, were invited to Kathmandu to serve in key position of Nepal Army. At the time, his grandfather served in Nepal Army as Dy. General (as all positions of “General”, I learned, were blocked for the family of Ranas who are also a branch of Chhetris). Rabindra’s father was a Civil Servant to your Government. And this is how I got to learn so much about Chhetris. And if Chhetris are coming originally from Jaipur, they must be the Sons of the Sun (Surya). Such a exotic idea in my mind, also makes me very happy. I hold his Representation by written since 1996, when he founded his Agency but my real operation had started only since last year 1999 as I was engaged with other local tour operators through USA for Nepal”.

1992-Today: ATB/Africa Travel Bureau, a tour operator for Tanzania, owned and handled by my also friend, Mr.Salomon J. Daudi (“King” Salomon for me). His services are impeccable and of a very high quality too. I met “King” in 1983, when I was appointed the representative for the Tanzania Tourist Board. At that time, he was also collaborating for TTB. Now he has his own operation and in a very few years he has developed enormously. Recently he bought his own safari-rovers. I represent ATB in Mexico since 1992, very successfully.

1993-Today: Mr. Luke Muilili King’oo, of LUKE TRAVEL OF NAIROBI, Kenya, is also my correspondent there. Beautiful service. Excellent quality. He is also a very kind person. He was introduced to me by “King” Salomon. He has never regretted so. And he is also another “King”. Actually, “we work in team for the combination of safaris in both countries: Kenya and Tanzania”. I represents them since 1993.
