SUBLIME SIKKIM TOUR

This is seven day tour covers Pemayangste Monastery in West Sikkim in addition to Darjeeling and Gangtok. Pemayangste, "The Sublime Perfect Lotus", is the head of all other monasteries of the Nyimgma-pa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is great not only in its antiquity but also in sanctity. The walls and ceilings bear brilliantly hued frescoes of gods and demons It also houses the intricately carved wood-work, "Zangdok Parli" Portraying the Mahaguru's heavenly palace. You will also see one of the most breathtaking views of the mountains right from your hotel rooms.

• DAY 01:
Arrival Bagdogra airport, meet and transfer to Darjeeling ( 2134m, 80 kms, 4 Hrs).
• DAY 02:
Fullday sightseeing in Darjeeling.
• DAY 03:
Drive to Pemayangste Monastery in Sikkim (2085 m, 118 kms, 7 hrs).
• DAY 04:
Drive to Martham Village Resort (1700 m, 100 kms, 6 hrs). Evening village excursion.
• DAY 05:
Drive to Gangtok (1600 m, 30 Kms, 1 hrs). Local sightseeing.
• DAY 06:
AM: Drive to Kalimpong (1250 m, 80 kms, 4 hrs).
PM: Local sightseeing.
• DAY 07:
Departure transfer for onward journey.
