TBT # 04: 7 NIGHTS/ 8 DAYS (FLY IN/DRIVE OUT)

• Day 01:
  Fly Kathmandu-Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar airport meet and transfer to hotel, 90 Kms away from airport. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize.
• DAY 02-04:
  Three fulldays will be spent in Lhasa, the religious, cultural and economic center of Tibet. Sightseeing will include:
  • Potala Palace
  • Norbulingkha Summer Palace
  • Drepung Monastery
  • Jokhang Temple
  • Barkhor bustling Market
  • Sera Monastery
  • Ganden Monastery
• Day 05:
  After breakfast, take the southern route driving along the fortress city of Gyantse and reach Shigatse in the evening.
• Day 06:
  Full day Shigatse.
• Day 07:
  After breakfast, leave Shigatse for Zhangmu. The day's drive passes through Lhasa, Tingri west and the old trading post of Nyalam. In the day's drive you see Mt. Everest from the north face and Mt.Xixapangma (Nepalese name Gosainthan ) before you arrive at Zhangmu and stay overnight at Zhangmu hotel.
• Day 08:
  After breakfast, leave Zhangmu and arrive at Kodari in Tibet/Nepal Friendship Bridge.
