-HOW TO REGRESS IN TIME-
INTRODUCTION
By Connie Scheller

To be an exact person, in March 20th, 1991, it was written in the Science Section of a prestigious international magazine, an article of one single page in where it was described that various physicists were introducing two theories by means of which they could obtain, mathematically speaking and in paper, the physical regression in time.
After Albert Einstein, in general, the physicists have regarded the universe in where we live in a four-dimensional form, so to say that besides the three¹ physical dimensions we are sure they exist --length, width and height – we could think that there is a fourth one existing [four-dimension: is the extension of same sequence of the three-dimensional steps in a direction at right angles of all of the familiar directions] but that it could be in focus towards the possibility of the existence of other universes besides ours.
It is speculated that our magnum Universe is nested in another one, or, that this one, it forms a part --inside one electron²-- [an atom is made of a nucleus and electrons] of other infinitively smaller and, that inside our electrons, the smallest particles known in our world called quarks³ it could exist another universes, so infinitively small, that cannot be detected.
____________
¹). One dimension: it starts with left-right; other dimension: another direction at right angles to left-right. That is, forward- back; third dimension: a third direction at right angles to the other two),
²). Electrons are made of protons and neutrons and one neutron is made of quarks.
³). Quark and Super quark have been described as the missing link of essential matter to understand the Universe. The “superquark” is  the  name  of  the  subatomic  particle  that  the Scientifics believe it is a basic component of the matter and than that particle dates of the time of the Big Bang with which the Universe was created.

During the 19th Century, one scholar with the name of Edwin Abbott, tried to explain what it would be the Fourth Dimension (The Invisible Universe) in a world called Flatland of only Two Dimensions (left-right). Its habitants could have several forms, such as squares and triangles but they would not perceive each other that way as they could not see more than one side at a time, like for instance, when they would be walking around each other. If someone from our three-dimensional world would meet with someone of the four-dimension's one, we could only have a limited contact with such visitor. We could say that in our three-dimensional world the visitor could appear and disappear, could change its form, enter in a locked room through walls or closed doors and suddenly, to reappear in front of someone else far away from us. It is interesting to remind that, exactly, those are the powers connected to angels by the philosophers of the Middle-Age, before anyone could think about the existence of a fourth-dimension.

In our days, physicists, in search for answers, are trying to link the fourth-dimension withtime” in where we have always been moving in a progressive way –that one to measure it, we use the watch or the clock and to mark it, we have placed invisible international lines-. It is useless to state that in the practice, no matter how we move in our three-dimensional world –upward, downward, forward, backward, left or right- we have never been able to physically walk backward in time, even though, mathematically, the equations of motion written by Einstein work at the moment that the direction of time is reversed.

The new theories involve names of physicists unfamiliar by us, unknown, such as the ones of J. Richard Gott, form the Pinceton University and Kip Thorne, from the Institute of Technology of California who, together with another two colleagues, they talk about temporal twists and speed of light loops around cosmic strings, by means of which travel back in time could be a true issue.

But, ... how is it?. They say that traveling on board a spaceship, at nearly the speed of light loops and doing a turn around but in between the cosmic strings that are moving passing each other at also nearly the speed of light or, traveling through a wormhole, -a bizarre object that might exist at a core of a black hole- [it is compared as to penetrate through a tunnel of so tight dimensions as the one of a subatomic particle], such journey would transport us to the other distant part of our Universe –the unknown one- the one which would appear, instantly, either at the other side of the strings or of the tunnel. In such so special circumstances, it would be traveling, they assure us, essentially, to the past.

On May 1999 I switched on my TV to find in that moment a program running at the Discovery Channel. They were showing two new theories to travel through time. One of them was regarded as to travel in a spaceship and suddenly leave the axis of the journey so to meet straight, at the right or at the left, with another line of running “time”; other than ours.

8). There is no new issue in mentioning too, but necessary only, that in addition to the three physical dimensions we are acquainted with, it there exists “time”, which is treated mathematically as though it were equivalent to another three. But while, we, people on earth, we can travel freely in a physical direction –up and down, left and right, back and forth—it seems we only can go forward in time; never backward though there is nothing in the laws of physics, either, that can say that time cannot run backward.
________________________________
Another theory in same program was the Theory of the Curved Universe by means of which, to reach from point “A” in our present time, to point “B” in the past or future, Universe should be folded. Try enclosure.

Blinded by ignorance not only in the cosmic camp and without own scientific knowledge and basis of what they are talking and showing about, I have read these articles and have tried the small piece of paper in where “I fold the Universe” several times, also trying to imagine what would happen if we really would succeed in traveling back into the past. My conclusions have been macabre. Each time I come back to this such a complex issue, so little understandable, so profound, I decide to close the matter and do not think more about it. But today, I retake it to ask my readers some questions destinated to “hook” them in the subject I wish very much they get interested into: “NEPAL”.

Taking into consideration of what Einstein said that “time” is a continuum88. And that I, the ignorant, have added that time is not only a continuum but also a constant, and that this last addition, a constant, is with what we would encounter whenever we would travel in time: the real surprise of a constant, and not of the continuum, as the theory of the “continnum” is already what we only recognize as in where “time” is running...

And now, my questions are:

Would it mean that, in each instant of the universal time we are born, and in each instant of same... we die?. Does that mean that our existence is, a constant?. And that our death is, another one? Or, that perhaps, as we have never been born, shall we, ever, die?

Does that means that in such instant of that universal time I am here, forever, in the eternity, seated in front of my PC and I am constantly writing this Essay for you?.

If “tomorrow” I can come back in time to “today”, at 12h46, I will constantly be writing for you this Introduction, because if I reverse in time, at only three minutes before such clock-time, at 12h43, I will constantly be thinking in how to prepare a more subjective Introduction so to really interest my readers in my Essay about Time and NEPAL, a chapter I will enclose, as a Part II, piece that has been written and finished since a few days ago.

But for not getting our attention distracted and away from the such interesting and odd subject of regressions and travels in “time”, precisely, two years later, in the year 1993 and in the same magazine  that  I was  referring  to  at  the beginning of this communication, it appeared another article under their Science and Technology Section in where they are delighting us with a Report of a team-work of theatrical physicists during a Science Conference in Montreal.

They informed that a solution to a recent subatomic conundrum can be the code to convert the tele-transportation system from one affair of sci-fi to another of true-science and, that, by this means of transfer or transportation, via an electromagnetic ray from-point-to-point, will be as easy as it is now for us to send a letter or a message or information via fax.

But, how will they do it?. If, it is true that my interpretation is correct, they say they will register with a scanner, and in a PC, the information related to the “body” they are willing to transport and, the same machine, a kind of tele-fax, will make the transference up to the selected destination. The system is based in the “Heisenberg Law on the Uncertain Principles” (Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle), law that, in the real world of the mechanical quantum, indicates that just the fact of “observation” in a sub atomic level, it is also an act of “destruction” and that fact is imposing a very aggressive limit in the registration of such sub atomic information.

The explanation looks complicated for normal mortals but they say such action is as easy as to reconstruct a particle to its original specifications and later, to leave it alone, observing and reconstructing the billions of particles that make a person. If this information is sent via EPR’s co relation [EPR are twin particles, enigmatic, sub atomic, born of a sigle atom at the same time and known in the nuclear world with the names of “Einsten-Podolsky-Rosen Pairs”, the ones that, no matter how far they are separated, their destines are united] the transfer is performed.

It has been said that there is a long way to travel within the equations on the blackboard and the Faxing Machine for Humans because, up till now, and in practice, it is only have been possible to tele-fax or tele-transport a single particle. That is why I am obstipated in trying to give to the one who is reading me, an exact idea about the magnitude of a trip to NEPAL, that fascinating region of the world.

So it is my intention that you understand that to travel up to NEPAL it is the automatic return to the past. It is a regression without being boarded in a special space ship-craft, or in a time machine with the intention to be squeezed within the cosmic strings faster than the velocity of light or to be eaten by one black [worm] hole; without being ironed by the rollers of a fax machine, now in construction, for humans.

Because, just with the simple act to reach NEPAL you will be obtaining a complimentary “natural” regression in “time”. It is to walk freely, fascinatingly in the “time”; within the “time”. No space garments are needed; nor an oxygen mask either. You do not have to be connected to a spaceship.

It there exists the possibility that the person who is visiting NEPAL by the first time, will be kept in the same state of that one who visits India: either it can become fascinated with the country or, can get into an authentic state of shock. The are no middle terms.

But this shocking element is absolutely cultural and it depends in the fact that such traveler, arriving into NEPAL, counts with some touristical experience in Asiatic countries or in places like in Africa or Latin America, or he/she travels along with a person who can guide and introduce him/her to such

marvelous country in the correct way, showing all the outstanding and incredible beauties that NEPAL offers.

For those who have traveled a lot, poorness, houses in state of falling apart, streets with trash, strong smells, and sacrosanct cows walking around freely and within other gracious domestic animals, could surprise them but, to the less experimented ones, it is for sure that such descriptions will not be easily assimilated if they are not correctly introduced.

But for those ones like I, with a deep thirst for adventure, the so called travelers of the world, those with inquisitive mind, will feel plenty compensated. They will find here (guaranteed), a lot with which they will not only be satisfied but even impressed and impacted, in a positive manner, and for ever: still present vestiges of millenary civilizations as they keep its original architecture and involve, in its daily contemporary social life, its most ancestral religions and traditions.

In NEPAL you will find, as easy as I am now writing to you, Cardinal Stupas from 1st  Century, --or like a Palace of the year 620 AD or even buildings and monuments from the 11th, 12th, or 16th and 17th centuries.

Around you, people is still dressed with clothing that seem to belong to such ages... and you will see with your own eyes, they are practicing rituals -of for us of past religions-, with sacrifices, as it was done 2000 or more years ago. But the incongruent is that the car your chauffeur is driving for such visit is a modern one, the road is paved and your guide speaks English or Spanish or other language... and, about yourself, well, you remain a citizen of the year 2000 AD.

You will also meet with people full of warmth and friendship, who always seem to be interested to comply the most demanding visitor. Most of the street vendors are beautiful children, who master several languages. They are the kings of the Sales in the world and, once they point you out as a prospect of client, you better be prepared because either you buy or... you die.

And at night, that same night, you can sleep in a luxurious room in a modern hotel full of comforts and excellent food, continental cuisine, in the now 21st Century, even with bed covers and pillows filled with goose feathers and with air conditioning.

NEPAL is in the map again. NEPAL is back in popularity as a destination of the world as it has been before, when the young people invaded it in the decade of the 1950’s in search of love and peace. Now, old and new Buddhists are returning as this site of peace and friendship has its doors open to all those ones followers of Bo Tibetan Buddhism and their head, His Holy Highness, the Dalai Lama. NEPAL is the site of many Tibetan refugees and besides that, it counts with Lumbini in its terrains, the site where Lord Buddha was born. From all places these faithful Buddhists are arriving here, to this country, for the healing of the soul, for meditation and for obtaining the serenity needed to clear and clean the minds from the dirt and pollution –in all the extension of its meaning- of the outer rushing world. Many of these followers are getting peregrinations fixed from Kathmandu, to Lumbini and from there to Patna and Varanasi (Sarnath) in India so to make their Holy-Buddhist-Triangle first, and then, to close the circle when returning to Kathmandu, known in the 17th Century as Kantipur, or the site of the Kasthmandap Pagoda.
And NEPAL is not only offering a healing for the soul, but also healings for the body and so it may be contacted for Ayurvedics and Yoga within many other forms against ails and sufferings.

NEPAL is also the country for scenic trekking and for one of the Magnus opus routes for climbing: that one of the mighty Mt. Everest. In his grounds, NEPAL contains 08 Himalayan peaks of more than eight thousand meters high (+8.720 feet). Adding up all these heights, 66.455 meters (72,425.05 feet), it makes the higher steps in the world to reach Heaven. Such steps make the man-made ziggurats of Mesopotamia and Babylon to pale in comparison with such magnificence. Indeed, with such steps it is easier for the supreme to visit Earth and that is why I am sure, we, particularly, encounter with so many gods in this country.

NEPAL is one of the world’s most important Cradles of Art. Their Newaris, have mastered, -indeed mastered-, such arts and crafts for centuries and their work is found, not only all around Nepal itself but also, very specially, within all the Tibetan Plateau, inside and outside the monasteries, stupas, pagodas and temples. Such their art, is a festival to the eyes.

NEPAL is a country to be lived in own flesh as such action implies all the richness and richness of an emotional experience. Yes, it is like that. Those ones willing to know this such odd and singular world must experiment this, an also singular experience but... it must be done now!. Because if you wait for tomorrow, most probably you will find that the standers of the western materialistic system that have already started to undermine their old style of authenticity, will succeed.

Then, it will be too late. All these marvelous and fascinating ambiance, still existing here, all this candid splendor, will irremediably be getting lost.

Come with me!. Nepal is the good equation. It is the magic formula that will make possible that an atom of wise light will illuminate that very hard shell that protects the core of our cosmic ignorance.

Come with me!. Travel today to the past and reach up there, up to NEPAL, in where the human adventure, starts!...

And so it is kept written in the Registration Book of the Universal Time.
